Production and Dispatch

We carefully produce all samples to order, ensuring they arrive in perfect condition. Orders are dispatched within 3 working days, and a Royal Mail tracking number will be emailed once your order has been shipped. Royal Mail estimates delivery within 1–3 working days for Tracked 48 services.

Please note that delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Fragrance Fractions cannot take responsibility for delays once the parcel has been handed over to Royal Mail.


Lost or Incorrect Deliveries

If your order is marked as delivered but you haven’t received it, please notify us immediately. We will check the Royal Mail Proof of Delivery photograph and compare it with your address. In rare cases where your property is blurred on Google Maps, we may request a photo of your home’s exterior (including the door and house number). This is uncommon, as most addresses are visible, but the image helps us resolve disputes with Royal Mail.

If you are not at home when delivery is attempted, Royal Mail or the courier will generally leave a note advising that the parcel has been taken back to the depot, where you can arrange collection or request a re-delivery. Alternatively, the package may be left with a neighbor. A note should be left at your address to confirm this, but it may not always happen.

If a neighbor accepts the delivery on your behalf, the order will be considered “delivered.” This is a condition of us accepting your order. If you do not agree to this policy, please contact us prior to dispatch, and we will cancel and refund your order. Once Royal Mail has attempted delivery, it is the customer’s responsibility to either collect the package or make re-delivery arrangements with Royal Mail.

Rest assured, any photographs provided will only be used for the resolution process and securely destroyed once the case is closed. We take privacy seriously and do not retain or share customer data beyond what is strictly necessary.

Special Delivery Service

During specific times of the year, Royal Mail Special Delivery is available as an optional service. This fully tracked service aims for next-day delivery before 1 pm (Monday to Friday) after dispatch. Please note that our standard preparation time of up to 3 working days still applies.

EU and International Shipping

In the United Kingdom perfume and aftershaves are classified as dangerous items for shipping purposes. As such, they cannot be sent internationally by air mail, and only certain ground transit will accept them under dangerous goods services.

As such we are regretfully unable to offer international shipping at this time.

Goods Lost in transit UK

Any items not delivered, must be reported to us within 7 days of your order being dispatched and we will try and locate it. Fragrance Fractions, will not accept claims for non-delivery of items sent by Standard 1st Class Post, if we are not informed of non-delivery within 7 days of dispatch of your order. When informed about non-delivery, We are required by Royal Mail, to wait a total of 21 working days before a claim can be made for a lost item, and therefore we do not consider items lost until 21 Working days have passed. At this point a claim will be raised and a replacement item sent (stock permitting). Where items are out of stock a refund will be made.

In the event of an order lost in transit the customer is required to cooperate with Fragrance Fractions and Royal Mail in dealing with the claim. Failure to cooperate may invalidate the claim for a lost order.

Fragrance Fractions cannot accept responsibility for delayed or lost orders due to incorrect delivery addresses being provided. Customers Order Confirmation Email will state the delivery address given with the order. This is the customer’s opportunity to inform us of any errors. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all delivery details supplied are correct to ensure no issues occur with delivery.

Goods Lost in transit Europe

All European Shipments are managed by DPD and are Tracked. Delivery times stated are estimates, Fragrance Fractions will not refund or resend items due to late delivery. 

Any items not delivered, must be reported to us within 7 days of the estimated date of delivery (given at checkout and on order confirmation) and we will try and locate your goods. Fragrance Fractions, will not accept claims for non-delivery of items if we are not informed of non-delivery within 7 days of the estimated delivery date, because DPD will only accept claims for lost items for a period of 14 days after dispatch. In the event of an item being lost and reported as above, a claim will be raised and a replacement item sent (stock permitting). Where items are out of stock a refund will be made.
